Historical sources are generally divided into three
categories:
1. 1. Written Records: Books,
diaries, official documents, decrees, and judgments.
2.
2. Oral Traditions:
Stories, poems, and proverbs passed down verbally.
3.
3. Archaeological Remains:
Ruins, forts, inscriptions, ancient weapons, coins, and artifacts.
Utilizing these sources requires exceptional intelligence,
effort, passion, and insight, as well as knowledge of a nation’s customs,
habits, and geography.
